The taste of this wine has a velvety texture, notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum and caramelised banana, tones of black chocolate, nuances of mocha and roasted nuts. The finish is long and juicy. This wine will make an excellent pair of dishes with beef, duck, game, lamb, stew, grilled meat, slices of aged cheeses and chocolate desserts.

Have been looking for this for years
We used to drink this beautiful wine a few years ago when it was easily available in our local supermarket, since then we have been hunting high and low to get it again and success! Albeit a little pricey than it used to be but helps you savour the taste that little bit more!

Diemersfontein chocolate pinotage is our favourite. We had our first bottle of this 2007 and it was an amazing taste. I hope this one stands up to the tastes of the past. Will tell you after Christmas as this is a gift for my husband. I hope he let's me have a sip or two.
