Mulled Red Wine

Mulled Red Wine


  • 375ml red wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 50g brown sugar


Place all of the ingredients into a saucepan and simmer gently for 6-8 minutes, without boiling. 

Alternatively, place the ingredients in your slow cooker and cook on low until warm 

(1-2 hours, depending on your slow cooker).

To serve, pour the mulled wine into heatproof glasses.
