The wine shows black cherry and plums on the nose, while careful use of oak adds a touch of tobacco and cedarwood aromas. The ripe fruit follows on the palate, and fine tannins ensure an elegant finish.
During the first half of fermentation, the wine is pumped over every 4 hours. The wine is then matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.
Best Served With - Grilled flat iron steak with blue cheese butter or spicy cajun jambalaya.
